SECURITY

Security, security
Is what men try to find
They won't find it in the world
They won't find peace of mind
For nothing in this world
Is safe or will endure
Nothing at all is lasting
There's nothing that's secure

This world is filled with trouble
It rises on every hand
It puts fear in the heart
Of every woman and man
They have nothing to cling to
Nothing secure and firm
Often there are lessons
That are very hard to learn

They learn very quickly
You can't trust everyone today
If they're not very careful
What a price they'll have to pay
They feel that they can make it
On their own through life
Yet everything is in turmoil
Their lives are full of strife

Men are so much afraid
Of what the world might say
If they invite the Saviour
Within their hearts today
Don't they know man can't save them
From this awful world of sin
Don't they realize today
Only in Jesus can they win

My prayer is God will help you
To find your way today
That you'll ask Jesus in your heart
If you have gone astray
He'll love you so my friend
Completely satisfy your soul
Don't listen to your friends
Give Jesus full control.
