MIRACULOUS DELIVERANCE

When Moses led the people from Egypt to the promised land
He didn’t know how to do it, for he was just a man
He felt so insignificant as Pharaoh let them go
But Moses had no other choice but go where God said to go

The people were so happy, for they finally were free
When suddenly as they marched on, before them was the sea
As if that wasn’t bad enough, they didn’t know what to do
They saw Pharaoh’s army coming, they felt their lives were through

Moses knew that God above was watching what went on
He tried to encourage the people that every hope wasn’t gone
He said stand still and see the salvation of our God
He;’ll bring us through this problem by His power through this rod

When Moses pointed the rod out toward the sea
An East wind came and blew, but still they couldn’t see
Then a pathway opened up, through the water God made a way
He saved Moses and the people, He showed His power that day

When Pharaoh and his army tried as well to cross
They found out then and there exactly who was boss
For God was in control and the water covered them
The army of mighty Pharaoh, died that day in their sin

A time may come in your life when you can’t see a way out
You may feel trapped on every side, you may even start to doubt
But if you lift your eyes and pray to the Father up above
He’ll prove Himself to you, you’ll be sure of His love

Just as He fought the armies for the people of Moses’ day
He’ll also fight your enemies, if in His will you stay
If you completely trust Him to watch out for your soul
He’ll come through for you each time, if you give Him control

(Exodus 14:1-31)
