Scripture Acts 2:1-4

In this passage, we read about the day of Pentecost . It says that cloven tongues of fire sat upon each one present and the promised Holy Spirit had come. If we continue to read on further we would see where the disciples, on fire with the Holy Spirit, went out and proclaimed the gospel with boldness and power. Glory to God!

There's a song that says, "It only takes a spark, to get a fire going." Many forest fires have started because of one little spark. Once started, it burns and burns and it is very difficult to put out.

It can be the same with born again Christians. It only takes a spark in one person, if that spark is shared and spread abroad, to start a fire in other people's hearts. When people get on fire for God, they will attract attention. Where there is a fire, people will gather to watch it burn, just to see what happens. You get Christians burning with the fire of God's Holy Spirit and His power will fall on others who come to see what's going on.

Have you received the baptism of God's Holy Spirit? If you have, then you have the fire of God within you. Don't allow Satan to water it down. People need to see power in the lives of Christians today. We need to show them that everything they need can be found in Jesus and with the power of His Holy Spirit at work in their lives, they can live in victory and be used by God.

We need to be on fire for God,
To be used by Him today.
The Holy Spirit hasn't changed,
We must let Him have His way.
