Scripture Joshua 6:15-20

After the death of Moses, God spoke to Joshua and told him that he was to lead the children of Israel into the promised land. God also told him that every place the sole of his foot would tread, He would give to him.

When they came to the city of Jericho, they found that it was surrounded by a great wall. Looking at the situation in the natural, it seemed impossible. But the children of Israel had their trust placed in God, and with Him, nothing is impossible.

The Lord told Joshua to walk around the city once a day for six days in silence. On the seventh day they were to blow their trumpets and shout. Then the city would be theirs. The people did as God commanded and the wall fell down flat. GLORY TO GOD! Obedience led to victory.

Is there a wall or mountain in your life today? Do you have some problem that you're going through? Does the situation seem so big that there doesn't seem to be any solution in sight? If so, trust in God. The same God that Israel trusted in will come through for you. He can break down any wall or mountain, if we place it before Him and trust Him completely.

As Joshua went around the wall
And it fell down that day.
God will do the same for you
If you will trust and pray
