Scripture Exodus 4:10-16

Can God really use someone like me? Sound familiar? All of us go through this at sometime in our Christian walk. It was no different for Moses. God had called him to bring his people out of the bondage of Egypt. Moses told God how inadequate he was and all the different reasons why he wasn't the man for the job. The Lord became very angry with Moses.

God is still looking for people today that He can use to reach others for Him. Is He calling you? Have you felt the call of God on your life to do a work for Him? Maybe you are using some of the same excuses that Moses did. God is not looking for people with a lot of ability. He is more interested in your availability. When you make yourself available to God and allow Him to use you, He will equip you with everything you'll need. He always equips the ones He calls.

God may call an Aaron to work alongside you, but He may not. The main thing is that we develop the attitude that says, “Not my will Father, but thine be done." When we lay everything we have in total submission at the feet of Jesus, He will take what we have, add His power to it, and use it for His honour and glory.

Is the Father calling you today,
For a work that you must do?
Just make yourself available,
His power will flow through you.
