Scripture Acts 3:1-9

Peter and John were on their way into the temple to pray. Outside was a man who had been crippled from birth. Every day someone laid him at the temple gate so he could ask for money from the ones who went into the temple. This was the only way he could support himself.

When he asked Peter and John for money they told him to look upon them, which he did, expecting to receive something. The words Peter said next must have not only surprised the man, but also thrilled his heart. Peter said, "Silver and gold have I none, but such as I have give I thee, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk." Peter took him by the right hand and immediately his feet and ankle bones were strengthened and he went into the temple with them. He went walking, leaping and praising God.

What a miracle was performed in that man's life that day. He was at the right place at the right time.

It should be no different today. We have the same power working within us that Peter and John had. When we see someone today that needs a touch from God, we too can pray for them. When we use the same name of Jesus Christ, they too can be restored in mind, body, soul and spirit. Glory Be To God Forever!

What is your need today? Reach out in Jesus' name. He's standing by.

There's power in the name of Jesus,
When in His name we pray.
If we will only just believe,
It's just the same today.
