Scripture John 14:1-3

It seems in this world of ours today, the hearts and minds of people are troubled and perplexed. Every new day seems to bring more bad news and people don't seem to know what to expect from one moment to the next.

According to the way of the world, it is all right to be troubled and worried. To the world, it is the natural thing to do. But not to the child of God. Jesus said that we were not to let our hearts be troubled. If we believe in God, one of these days He will come back to take us to be where He is.

In verse 2 Jesus said, “In my Father's house are many mansions, I go to prepare a place for you." Jesus is in Heaven now preparing a place for those who have accepted Him as Lord and Saviour of their lives. We know that very soon He will return for us and we will spend eternity with Him. With a promise like that, is it any wonder that He told us not to let our hearts be troubled?

Is your heart troubled today? If it is, fix your thoughts and mind upon Jesus, believe His word and rejoice in the fact that someday soon we will be with Him forever. PRAISE GOD!

Let not your heart be troubled
Are the words that Jesus said
Don't worry about the things of life
But trust in me instead.
