According to the story of Noah, the people were all going around, doing their own thing, committing every sin imaginable, with no thought for God or man. In Lot's day, they were doing the same thing. They didn't care about the way they lived.
Isn't the same thing happening today? Everywhere we look sin is abounding on every side. People will tell you to leave them alone, they can do as they please. They try to get everything out of life that they can get, with no concern for anyone else. However, they will not always live that way.
God destroyed the people of Noah's day with a flood and the people of Sodom and Gomorrah with brimstone and fire, because He could no longer look upon their wickedness. It will be no different for our world. One of these days God will say, "Enough!" Jesus will come and take all born again believers home with Him. According to the book of Revelation, this world will then go through a time of tribulation such as was never seen since the beginning of time.
Where do you stand with God? Are you living as if there will always be a tomorrow? If you are, make things right with God today, before it is too late.
