Scripture Daniel 2:25-30
As I read this I was really impressed with the way Daniel handled himself. The king had called his wise men and magicians together to tell him the meaning of a dream he had. They couldn't do it. During the night, God told Daniel the meaning of the dream. When Daniel was called before the king, he could have made himself look good in the king's eyes. He could have taken all the credit for what he knew. But he made it very clear to the king that it was God who had revealed the dream to him and that in himself he had no wisdom. Everything he had came from God. Daniel gave all the glory to the one it belonged to, God and God alone.
There are many ministries that are being blessed by God and He is reaching many people through those ministries. If the time comes when they fail to give the credit to the one that it is due, they will fold and go under.
That is the way it should be with us. There may be times when God may move through us to help someone else. When He does, we have to remember that like Daniel, God is to receive all the glory. What a privilege we have if we allow the Holy Spirit to work through us. If we make ourselves available, God will use us.
Allow the Lord to use you
Even in some small way
Give all the glory to your God
And praise Him everyday
