Scripture 2 Corinthians 6:1-10

As I read this passage, I couldn't help but think about the awesome responsibility we have as children of God. We are to walk together with Christ. When we realize that the church of Jesus is people, not a building, we should put any differences we have aside and concentrate on getting the gospel out.

Verse 3 says,"Giving no offence in anything that the ministry be not blamed." Every time any born again child of God does or says anything that is un-Christ like, the ministry is blamed. We have to be very careful of everything we say and do if we are claiming to be children of the living God. When we are not sure of something, we must ask ourselves if Jesus would say or do this? If the answer is no, then we shouldn't do it either.

Jesus said that we are to love one another. We can't afford to allow ourselves to become entangled with the affairs of this world and cause the gospel of Jesus to suffer or be blamed for something we did or said.
One day each of us will have to stand before God and give an account of how we lived our lives. Everything we say and do should be to help the ministry of Christ, not hurt it. Remember, people are watching and listening, what are they seeing and hearing from you?

Always think of who's we are
When walking in this world
Be careful to live the best you can
In thought and deed and word
