Scripture Acts 17:1-16

Paul and Silas were in Thessalonica. They went into the synagogue where Paul preached to the people for three days. As usual, some accepted the word and some didn't. Unfortunately the ones who didn't agree, caused trouble. So the people sent Paul to Athens. While he waited there, his spirit was stirred within him by the idols that he saw there. Paul was really bothered by what he saw.

As we look around our towns and cities, are our spirits stirred within us by what we see? Do we hurt when we see the drunkard stagger down the street, or do we just turn our heads the other way? We see so much around us today because Satan is out in full force. As children of God, we can no longer stand idly by and do nothing at all.

If we read on we would see where Paul told them about the God he loved and served and we must do the same. We need to tell people that Jesus loves them. Whether they accept it or not is not our responsibility. The rest is up to God. Make sure you do all you can to win others for Jesus because the time we have is fast running out.

Make sure you tell the people
About the God you love
You will not know the outcome
Until you live above
