It makes no sense to me at all why anyone in their right mind would worship something that they themselves created. Something that has no life, no feeling, no breath, nothing. I often wonder how the people must have felt when they came into the house of their God and realized that he had come face to face with the one and only true God. The God of Israel. You would tend to think that they would have turned to God and forsaken the worship of idols. But they didn't.
Who are you worshipping today? Is it some silly idol, or the true and living God? There is one God and one God only. Make sure you worship Him and him alone.
