At a certain time an angel came and troubled the waters and the first one to step in was made completely whole from whatever disease they had. There was a man there who was sick for thirty-eight years. Jesus asked him if he would like to be made whole. He told Jesus that someone always stepped in the water before he had a chance to get there. Jesus told him to rise, take up his bed and walk. Immediately he was made whole. When Jesus spoke, he didn’t need to step into any water. He was healed instantly.
When Jesus speaks, things happen. Here was a man that had waited almost all his life to step into some water and then along came Jesus. What a difference it makes when Jesus comes into a persons life. Jesus may not be walking on the earth in the flesh today like He was then, but He is still the great healer and He still heals today. What is your need? Whatever it is, call upon the Lord and ask Him to meet it. He’s standing by.
