Scripture 1 Chronicles 16: 29-34

What an awesome reverence we should feel when we come before the Lord. We must give Him all the glory that is due His name. If we were to look back over our lives today, would we see places where we didn’t do all that God expected us to do? Of course we would. But we are told in verse 29 to come before Him and worship Him in the beauty of holiness. We are to give thanks to the Lord, for He is good and His mercy endures forever.

A lot of times we fail to see God for who He really is. We fail to see the awesomeness of the one that we are serving. We are talking about the one and only true God. The one who was in the garden of Eden. The one who breathed into man the breath of life, and man became a living soul. The one who spoke this world into existence and put the sun, moon and stars in place. The one who looked down upon this sinful world, and saw our need of a Saviour, and sent Jesus.

We could spend from early morning to late at night praising God for who He is, and we would still not come close to giving Him the glory he deserves. So, what we do is this....Every chance we get, let us praise Him and thank Him for who He is and for all He has done. And always maintain an attitude of praise in our hearts.

God is worthy of all praise
His name we should adore
He is the God of everything
He’s all that is secure
