Scripture Luke 5: 17-26

Jesus was surrounded by multitudes of people wherever he went. At this particular time He was inside a house and as usual, there was a crowd. There was absolutely no more room to even squeeze one more person in. Some men brought a man that had palsy, hoping Jesus would heal him. The man was on a bed and so they carried him. They tried all they could, but could not find anyway to get the man into the house. So, they went upon the roof and took off the tiles and lowered the man down in the midst where Jesus was.

When Jesus saw their faith, well you know the rest. The man was healed, restored, and went home rejoicing and praising God. Notice, it says, their faith, not the mans faith. Can someone be healed by someone else’s faith? I believe this scripture is proof that they can.

Maybe as you read this, you have been praying for someone and believing God to meet their need. Don’t give up. God can meet any need and He can do it by the faith that you have. Just as Jesus saw the faith of the men that brought their friend, He will also honour your faith. If you too have to do something out of the ordinary, like the men did, do it.

If you have a need in your own life, bring that to the Lord. Lay it before Him and ask Him to meet the need. Then believe that he will. He loves you today and all He wants is that you trust Him with your life.

God will reward your faith
If you continue to hold on
The problem you have prayed about
In Jesus name will be gone.
