Scripture Isaiah 55: 6-9

Are you one of those people who feel things will always remain as they are? Do you feel you will always have time to call upon the lord, so you are going to have what you refer to as a “good time.” Take a look at verse 6 if you feel that way. It says that you seek the Lord while He may be found and to call upon Him while he is near. These words seem to imply that He will not always be found or near. So in light of that, what should you do?

Verse 7 has the answer. That says that the wicked should forsake his wicked ways and the unrighteous man his unclean thoughts. If you return unto the Lord, He will have mercy upon you and will pardon you. He’ll not just pardon you, He will abundantly pardon you.

God doesn’t think the way we think and neither does He do things the way we do them. His thoughts and ways are much higher than ours. (Isaiah 55: 8-9) The wonderful thing about it all is this....When we are truly sorry for our sins and call upon the Lord, He will forgive us of our sins and become our Saviour.

How is it in your life today? Do you feel you are alright like you are? If you haven’t accepted Jesus into your life, seek Him while He may be found and call upon Him while He is near. The time will come when the door of mercy will close. Don’t wait until it is too late. He is standing by. Make your decision today.

Seek the Lord today
While He may be found
Trust Him to save you
He’ll never let you down
