Scripture 2 Kings 13: 20-21

Elisha was a man of God in every sense of the word. He lived close to God and was very much anointed by the Holy Spirit. There was no question that the power of God rested upon him. These verses of scripture tells a story that some people might find hard to believe. But if it is recorded in the Bible, then I believe it.

Elisha had died and was buried. Some people were burying another man when a band of Moabites were seen. The men became afraid and threw the body of the man they were burying into the seplecure where the body of Elisha was. When the dead man’s body touched the body of Elisha, the dead man came back to life and stood on his feet. Wow!!! What power must have been in Elisha’s life that even after he was dead it was still there.

That same power is available through the Holy Spirit. God is looking for people who are willing to be filled with His power. People that He can use to do a mighty work for Him. Elisha was a human being just like you and I. The difference was that he was totally open to God, to be used in any way He saw fit to use him. And use Him God did.

Do you want to be used by God today. Do you want the power that flowed through Elisha to flow through you to others as you minister. If you do, there is a condition. You must be willing to give God your ALL. Not part of you, ALL of you. You must give Him total control and be willing to allow Him to use you, as He sees fit, just like He used Elisha. What is your answer? If it is yes, tell God that and then yield your life completely to Him and watch what he does through a life that is totally yielded to Him.

The power that Elisha felt
Is available today
God is looking to find
