Scripture Psalm 40: 1-4

Many times during the Psalms the Psalmist cried out for deliverance from one thing or another. This was one of these times. He said he waited patiently for the Lord and He heard him and brought him up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay. God placed his feet upon a rock and established his ways. He put a new song in his mouth and praises to God. The man who trusts the Lord is blessed.

Many of us as we read this can remember only too well the awful state of our lives when Jesus came in. Many of us may have felt like we were also in a horrible pit of sin. We were trapped by the enemy of our soul, thinking there was no way of escape and along came Jesus. When Jesus comes into a life, the gloom and sadness has to go. What a time of rejoicing when Jesus comes on the scene. Bless His precious name!!!

We have so much to be thankful for don’t we? Satan can no longer keep us in bondage for we have a mighty deliverer and His name is Jesus. We have so many reasons to praise God. When we think of all that we have in Jesus, is it any wonder we can sing....All Hail King Jesus!!!!

If you need deliverance
Call on the Lord today
He will come to your aid
He won’t turn you away
