Scripture Revelation 22:12

Regardless of what we do in life, the most important thing is the work we do for the Lord. We have been saved to serve, so we in turn pass on this glorious message of the gospel that we received. What a privilege it is for us to work for the King of Kings. When you talk about doing something, one of the first things some people say is, “What’s in this for me?” We don’t work for God for what we might get, but for the joy and honour of serving Him.

However, there are spiritual crowns . Here is where they are found in the scripture. #1.......The Incorruptible Crown 1 Corinthians 9:25 #2.......The Crown of Glory 1 Peter 5:4 #3.......The Crown of Righteousness 2 Timothy 4:8 #4.......The Crown of Life James 1:12

I have heard songs sung about laying crowns at the feet of Jesus. In this verse we see that it is scriptural...Revelation 4:10...The twenty-four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne, and worship him who lives for ever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne saying, Thou art worthy, O Lord to receive glory and honor and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

I am sure when we receive crowns that will be a good place to put them. To me, reward enough will be to be able to one day stand before the Lord and look into the face of the one who gave His all and died so that I might be set free from my sin. What bliss!!!

The joy of working for the Lord
To it nothing can compare
If we live for the Lord down here
One day a crown we’ll wear
