Scripture Revelation 21:22-27, 22:1-4

This passage of scripture talks about the great city, the New Jerusalem. There was no temple there, for God and Jesus are the temple. No need of sun or moon there, because the glory of God and Jesus are the light. The gates shall not be shut all day for there is no night there. There will not be anything there that is unclean. Glory to God! A city were sin does not exist. There will be a pure river of water of life, clear as a crystal, coming from the throne of God. The tree of life will be there, whose leaves are for the healing of the nations. No more sickness or pain.

I love verse 4. It says we shall see His face and His name shall be in our foreheads. What a wonderful, wonderful place. I am so glad that the Bible is true and that the book of Revelation speaks of things that are to come. This is something that every born again child of God has to look forward to.

One of these days, we will be able to say goodbye to this sin cursed world and leave here for good. We will go to a place where all will be peace, joy and happiness. A place where we will dwell with our God throughout the endless ages of eternity. If that doesn’t thrill your heart, nothing ever will. What a hope is ours!!!! Keep faithful.

To go to that beautiful city
That city of God above
A city filled with beauty
A city filled with love
