No one has ever found any peace in this world and I doubt if anyone ever will. Peace is found one place and one place only. In the Lord Jesus Christ. Verse 3 says that God will keep those in perfect peace who keeps their mind on Him. Jesus Himself said in John 14:27 that His peace He would leave with us. He told us not to let our hearts be troubled or afraid. We know there is much in this world that could cause you to be troubled and afraid but if Jesus is our Lord then we will have peace in the midst of it all
There is no need at all for the child of God to be in constant turmoil and fear. We can be calm and peaceful, in the midst of the storms in our lives because we have someone with us all the time. And we have the one that gives a peace that passes all understanding. How is it in your life today? Do you have peace in the midst of your storms? Are you trusting the one that loves you? Whether or not we have that peace is entirely up to us. He is willing to give it. Are you willing to receive it?
