Many people today are doing exactly the same thing. They say they read their bibles all the time. Yet when you tell them that they need to be born again, they tell you you're crazy. The funny thing about it is that the very bible they are claiming to read, tells very plainly that you must be born again to inherit eternal life. The reason they can't see it is because their spiritual eyes are shut. If your desire is to understand God's word, ask Him to open your understanding and you will no longer be spiritually blind to His word.
The word of God is the most fascinating book that has ever been written. The wealth of knowledge in those pages are priceless. It is a guide to every born again child of God. Its wonders are many and when you get into studying it, you will be blessed beyond measure. So whatever else you do today, take time out of your busy schedule and search the scriptures. For in them and them alone will you fine what you need to live this Christian life.
