I especially like what verse 10 says. It says that there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over a sinner that repents. Imagine! Out of all the people that are living in the world today, there is joy in heaven among the angels, over just one person who receives Jesus in their hearts as their personal Saviour. Surely when people read this they can no longer say that no one cares if they get saved or not.
Just think about it for a moment. When you asked Jesus to forgive you of your sins and come into your heart, there was a celebration in heaven, as the angels rejoiced over you coming home. These are angels that behold the face of Jesus everyday and they know the love and compassion that he has for us. They know what it means to God when one of us realizes what Jesus did and gives our lives to him.
Those of us who are born again must tell everyone that we come in contact with that Jesus loves them, and that His desire is that they would repent and get saved. We can praise God because even if we feel that no one cares about us, we have the assurance that each one of us are important to God. So important that the angels rejoice when we come home. That alone should make you feel loved today.
