Scripture Acts 16:16-18

There are a lot of people who feel that they know who God is, but after talking to them you find out that it is only head knowledge. They haven't allowed it to go from their head to their heart. That was the way it was with the girl we just read about. She kept following Paul and Silas and saying that they were servants of God and that they were sent to show the way of salvation. She knew who Paul was and his purpose in life, but she didn't accept that she too could be delivered by the saving power of God.

No one knows any better than Satan who God is, but he keeps his followers from knowing the truth. But Praise God when Paul commanded the evil spirit to come out of the girl, she was delivered. It can be the same way with anyone that Satan has under his control. What about you? Does Satan have you under his control in any area in you life? Maybe you have a sinful habit that you can't get rid of or maybe you have never invited Jesus into your heart. Whatever it is, you can change the situation right now. Right where you are, you can bow your head and ask Jesus by His Spirit, to help you. You can ask Him to come into your heart, forgive you of your sins and take full control of your life. Why not do it now? Jesus is waiting.
