The word "almost" is used in a lot of ways. People say things like,"When I heard that I almost died", or " I almost gave to that person in need", or "I almost made it to church on Sunday." On and on it goes. A lot of people almost do a lot of things.
The saddest thing is when someone sits under the convicting power of the Holy Spirit Sunday after Sunday, and then they tell someone that they almost got saved. There is no gain whatsoever in almost. Almost means that it didn't happen.
Even after hearing about Paul's experiences, Agrippa still said,"Thou almost persuadest me to be a Christian." Paul's reply was that he wished not only him, but all the others with him became Christians. It tells us at that point they got up and left. Sound familiar?
I believe that as soon as the Holy Spirit starts to deal with a person to accept Jesus, Satan immediately tells them that they have plenty of time and they put off their souls salvation. Don't be one of those people because almost might make it too late and you could be eternally lost.
