Scripture Acts 20:17-27

As Paul was getting ready to leave for Jerusalem, he called the people together and told them to take record that day, that he was pure from the blood of all men. He had told them the full council of God and now it was up to them to accept Jesus or not. He said that he had not kept anything back from them that was profitable to them. He had warned them and because he had, if they continued in their sins and were lost, it would not be upon his head.

A lot of people feel that it's someone else responsibility to tell people their need of salvation. That's not true. It is the responsibility of every born again Christian to tell whoever they come in contact with that they need Jesus. We were not saved to sit around and do nothing while people in our towns are lost and going to hell.

When we stand before God and He asks us why we didn't witness when we had the opportunity, what will we say? Everyday we must ask the Lord if there is anyone He wants us to visit or to speak to. If there is, the Holy Spirit will reveal to us who He wants us to minister to. What are you doing in your town? Do the members of your family know they need to be saved? Can you say with the Apostle Paul, "I am pure from the blood of all men?"

Are you telling others about the Lord?
Are you pointing souls to God?
When you stand before His throne,
Will you stand there all alone?
