Scripture Job 42: 10-17

If you know anything about the story of Job, you know that God gave Satan permission to do anything he wanted with his wealth first, then his health. But he would not permit Satan to take his life. Satan did everything he could to try to get Job to curse God. Even his wife told him to curse God and die, but Job would not. He made statements like, "Though he slay me yet will I trust him." Job had proved his God over the years and no matter what the enemy did, Job would not bring an accusation against God.

I often wonder how I would do if I had been put to the test like Job was. Would I have reacted like Job did? Would you? We may never have to know. But, there may come a time in our lives when all that can go wrong will go wrong. We may feel that no one is there and no one cares. If that time ever comes, remember Job.

The scriptures we just read proves that God was there all the time. He had not forsaken him and He will never forsake us, if we trust Him. God blessed Job to the point that He was better off than he ever was before. All that Satan had destroyed and stolen, the Lord blessed back to Job with interest. What a beautiful thing it is to know that no matter what comes our way, if we trust God, He will never let us down.

Don't ever feel God's not there
He's always on His throne
He promised He'd stay by your side
He won't leave you alone.
