Scripture Isaiah 6: 1-8

Isaiah had a vision. He saw the Lord high and lifted up and his train, (what he was wearing) filled the temple. In the presence of an awesome, Holy God, Isaiah felt so unclean. In Verse 5 he said, "Woe is me for I am a man of unclean lips and I dwell with people of unclean lips". Isaiah instantly recognized his unworthiness to be in the presence of the Lord. When the live coal was taken and placed on his lips, all his sin was purged. Then he heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Without hesitation Isaiah said, "Here am I, send me."

The Lord needed someone to go to the people for Him then and He is still asking the same question today. He is still saying, "Who will go and do a work for me? Who will tell the world I love them and I died to set them free? Will you go for me?"

Do you feel the Lord's calling on your life to go and spread His gospel to a dying world? If you do, don't be afraid to say like Isaiah said, you say, "Lord here I am, I will go." Then just trust the Lord to equip you to do the work He has called you to do. Don't fear when you don't feel you can do it because without the Lord, you can't. Trust Him and He will provide all you need.

Is God calling you today,
For a work he'd have you do
If he is, say yes to him,
Allow God to use you.
