Scripture Psalm 150: 1-6

The theme of this scripture is praise. Praise is something that should be as natural as breathing to the child of God. God is certainly worthy of our praise. How are we to praise Him? Any way we can. This Psalm gives a few examples. We can praise Him with musical instruments, dance or with our voice. Verse 6 says....Let everything that has breath, praise the Lord.

I once saw a person use sign language to praise God. God doesn't care how you praise Him. When we look at all God has done, is it any wonder why there is a desire in our hearts to praise Him? Praising God should never depend on how we feel. Whether we feel like it or not, He is worthy to be praised.

One thing that God doesn't want or need is forced praise. If you only praise Him when others do, or because you have some need that you are believing for, forget it. God won't be one bit impressed. Don't think He doesn't know when you praise Him from your heart. He knows. God deserves our praise. He made us and breathed into us the breath of life. He died for us and is one day coming to receive us to himself. That alone is enough reason to praise Him. So, Praise ye the Lord.

Praise You, Praise You Father
My praise I send to You
Because You are my Father
And you have been so true
