Scripture Ecclesiastes 11: 3-5
Many feel that they can tell what the weather will be like by the feel of the air, or the way the wind blows, etc. People look at a red sky at night and predict that the next day will be a fine day for anyone travelling on water. I can remember my grandfather being able to tell by the air when it would rain, or how much wind there would be. I guess they had to depend upon what they knew to be right because they couldn't turn on a TV and get the weather forecast when they needed it. Many think they know all there is to know but we will never know it all.
God is the only one who knows everything. We still don't know where the wind comes from or why God sometimes does things the way he does. We will never fully comprehend the works of God, the creator of all. We will never understand how God could say, "Let there be light," and there was light.
But there is one thing that we can fully understand and that is found in John 3:16...For God so loved the world that He gave his only Son to die so that we might have everlasting life. You may never know everything, but make sure you know God and that you ask Jesus to come into your heart and forgive your sins. It will be the wisest thing you will ever do in your life.
We will never know it all
For too soon this life is past
Make your salvation sure
It's the one thing that will last.
