Scripture Luke 18: 1-8

Jesus told a lot of parables during His ministry. Stories in which He used familiar things to show the meaning of the parable. The objective of this particular parable is found in verse 1. Men should always pray and not faint. We are to keep praying until we get an answer. We should never give up.

There was a woman in a city who came and asked a judge to help her. This man had no fear of God or man. Many times he refused her. Finally, because he grew tired of her persistence, he agreed to see that she received the justice she was seeking. It wasn't because of fear of anyone that he helped her. In our words today....she bugged him until he moved on her behalf.

Matthew 7: 11 says...If you then being evil know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask Him. If our child came to us today and asked for something they needed, unless it was bad for them, we would do all we could to help. Will God do any less for us?

The Lord will come to our aid, when he knows that we are serious about what we are asking Him for. God has given each of us a measure of faith. We must make sure that we use the faith that we have, until we receive the answer we are seeking. If you trust and believe God, He will answer when the time is right, in the way that He knows is best.

Keep asking until you get
What you are asking for
God knows what you need
His blessings He will outpour
