Scripture Isaiah 35:1-10
Have you heard of a more beautiful place than the one described in these verses? The world in which we are living in is being overrun with sin and sickness. Even the earth itself is suffering from floods, tornados, earthquakes, etc... But here we read of a place where the sick will be well, the ground will be flourishing and there will be singing and joy instead of sorrow and sighing. This is a picture of God's kingdom, a place where there will be no sin to darken people's lives. A place certainly worth striving to go to.
While we live on earth, no one is exempt from sickness, sorrow or pain. But if we have accepted Jesus into our lives and are living the way that He would want us to live, we will someday go to that beautiful place. God's beautiful kingdom. It's hard to understand why so many people choose to live in sin and why so many don't seem to want to live with God forever. We must make the right choice today because tomorrow may never come. Be sure of where you spend eternity.
To live in God's Holy Kingdom,
Or live a life of sin.
Is a choice we all must make,
Will you lose or will you win
