Scripture Exodus 3:1-10

Moses had lived in the courts of Pharaoh, but after seeing how his people were being treated he killed an Egyptian who was mistreating one of them. Then he had to leave. He ended up keeping the flock of his Father-in-law Jethro. He had led them to the backside fo the desert. While he was there an angel of the Lord appeared in a flame of fire out of a bush. When Moses looked at it he saw that it burned with fire , but didn’t burn up.

Moses thought it was quite a sight and so he decided to take a look at what was happening, when the Lord saw his interest, He spoke to him out of the bush and called his name. He told him to take off his shoes because the ground he was standing on was holy. God then told him that he was going to send him to Pharaoh so he could bring His children out of Egypt.

Wow!!! What a way to be called into service for God. There was no way that Moses could doubt that it was God that had called him. Even though Moses knew something had to be done, I am sure it must have never entered his mind that he might be the one God would call to bring them out. Are you prepared today if God should ask you to do a work for Him? If He asks you, don’t be surprised because God will use anyone that will make themselves available. God is looking for people that are willing to be used by Him to reach others. Make yourself available today.

Are you prepared today
If God should call on you
Be careful how your answer
Do all that you can do
