Scripture Psalm 105: 26-37

There are a lot of people in our world today who criticise and mistreat born again Christians. In some countries of the world, Christians are even killed for their faith. As far as I am concerned there is very little fear of God anymore. People feel they can do as they like, to whom they like. Like the Egyptians, some people are in for a rude awakening. Pharaoh and his people were treating God’s people disgracefully. They were treating them more like animals than like humans.

But according to these verses, it didn’t go on forever. God said, “Enough,” and stepped in. He sent them darkness, turned their water to blood, sent frogs, flies, lice and hail. This is just to name a few. Still Pharaoh wouldn’t budge, so God struck all the firstborn of Egypt. Then, He brought His people out.

The same thing will happen again. The people who are mistreating God’s people today will one day be brought to a sudden halt. God will again step in and intervene. If you are a child of God and you are constantly being treated bad for what you believe, hold on. It will not go on forever. God will come to your aid. Hold on to your faith and trust God completely.

Though persecutions may come
God will one day step in
Just hold on to the Lord
And one day you will win
