2 Corinthians 2: 14-17

Do you feel triumphant? Do you feel that you can face anything that comes your way? Not many of us feel that way, do we? But, we can. According to these verses. It says...Thanks be unto God which always causeth us to triumph in Christ. Unto God we are a sweet savour of Christ. Unto the world we are what we portray.

What are we to those in the world who are seeing us everyday? Does the unsaved feel uncomfortable in our presence because they see so much of Jesus in us? Or is it the opposite? Does the world feel comfortable around us because they can’t tell the difference between us and themselves in the way we talk and act? It should be the first way, not the second.

Believers should so radiate the presence of Jesus that unbelievers would feel convicted of their sin just sitting in their presence. I am not saying that we force our views on anyone. I am saying that if we live what we believe in front of people, they will see that having a relationship with Jesus is a good thing. When they see the difference in our conversations, in the way we talk, they will know that we are the Lord’s. If they see no difference in the way we talk and act than they see in the world, then something is definitely wrong.

Make sure that what people are seeing in you is what would attract them to Jesus and not something that would cause them to turn away. Matthew 5:16 says..Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

A sweet smelling savour to God
Is what a Christian should be
If the world sees Jesus in us
They too will want to be free
