Scripture Numbers 13:17-33

In these verses we see a very great difference of opinion. Moses had sent men to spy out the land. As you see, what each one saw was different. Some said there was an abundance of fruit in the land but there were giants there. These men were looking at the situation with only their physical eyes. Caleb however was different. He remembered that God had promised to bring them to a land that flowed with milk and honey. In verse 30 he said,"Let us go up at once and possess the land." But they said that the other inhabitants were stronger then they were.

They had forgotten that God had promised to drive out all the inhabitants before them. These people had witnessed God perform miracle after miracle on their behalf, yet it seemed that he couldn't do enough for them. No matter how much he did for them, he couldn't persuade them that he would take them to the place that he promised he would. Is it any wonder why they wandered for 40 years?

Maybe you feel that in the natural your situation may seem impossible? Maybe you feel that there is no way out. If so, take your eyes off how it looks in the natural and place your eyes and trust on a God who never fails or breaks a promise.

When looking with the natural eyes,
Things aren't always as they seem.
Start looking with the spiritual eyes,
Trust God, who's all supreme.
