Scripture John 9

Jesus had performed another miracle and as usual, someone was offended. The so called "Religious" people of Jesus' day couldn't stand the fact that Jesus was doing things that they could not do. The only difference this time was that they knew that Jesus had indeed performed a great miracle, because the man who they had seen everyday begging because he was blind, was now standing before them with perfect sight.

Then the conflict began. The Pharisees said that Jesus was a sinner because He healed the man on the Sabbath day. They even called for the man's parents hoping that they would say that he wasn't blind from birth. I like what the man said. He said, "I don't know if He's a sinner or not. All I know is that once I was blind, but now I see." The man was cast out of the synagogue. Imagine that, being thrown out of church because he was healed.

The Pharisees couldn't be happy that Jesus had helped this man because their jealousy of Jesus was too intense. What was the final outcome of it all? The man who was healed, accepted Jesus as the Son of God, and the Pharisees, only God knows what happened to them. We may not always agree with the way that some people do things for God, but we had better make sure that we don't judge others falsely for doing the will of God.

Be careful what you say,
The Lord is watching you.
Leave judgement up to Him,
He knows what's false or true
