Scripture Genesis 45:1-8
There are times in our lives when someone we love will hurt us. When that happens, it's entirely up to us how we react. We can be unkind and look for ways to hurt them back, or we could forgive them and look for the good that is that person instead of looking for the bad. That's what Joseph did. His brothers sold him as a slave and he ended up far away from home in a place called Egypt. God had placed him in a position of authority where he was now able to help the very ones that had hurt him.
Maybe you feel a bit like Joseph today. Maybe someone had hurt you and you don't know what to do or where to turn. If that is your situation, then I can tell you what to do. Turn it all over to God, trust Him, and allow Him to work it out for you. Psalms 37:5 says,"Commit thy ways unto the Lord, trust also in Him and He shall bring it to pass." Just place your complete trust in God and you'll prove with me that God is still God.
Whatever your lot in life today
Commit it to God and simply say
I place this problem in your care
Then trust in Him and leave it there
