What About Eternity

You hear some people say
You live life to the most
Then they list some things
In life, in which they boast
They feel they have it all
There's nothing left to gain
They say you get what you can
Out of what's called life's game

Sure, they get what they can
Possessions mean so much
They brag on what they achieve
But it's nothing you can touch
They feel tomorrow will always come
And you'll always have today
They feel there will be no judgement
They won't ever have to pay

But what about eternity
What happens after death
My friend where will you spend it
Where will you go and who with
Will you spend it up in Heaven
Walking on the streets of gold
With the blood washed saints around you
Where you never will grow old

Or will you go to hell
Where the fire burns on and on
Where the tortured and tormented
Forever sing their mournful song
So my friend, the choice is yours
What will your choice then be
As I ask you one more time
Where will you spend eternity

Be careful how you choose
Be careful what you say
Be careful what choice you make
Through eternity you will pay
So when you are choosing
Be careful and think it through
For where you spend eternity
Is entirely up to you
