Trials

Do the trials you face
Sometimes weigh you down
Instead of a smile
You find there's a frown
The pressures come in
Like a flood to your soul
Sometimes you lose it
You lose your control

Are there times when you said
Things you wish that you hadn't
Are there times when you did
Things you wish that you didn't
Are there times when you feel
Your boxed in all around
Are there times when you wished
There was no one around

Are there times when the pressure
Seems to mount up so high
You wished you were a bird
So away you could fly
Away from the problems
Up high you would soar
Above all the storm clouds
So safe and secure

Everyone faces trials
When the pressures rush in
Everyone faces problems
Where it seems they can't win
Everyone faces heartaches
Sorrow and pain
But always there's sunshine
After the rain

The clouds will all go
And God's peace will come in
If we will surrender
Our burdens to Him
He said we could cast
Our care on Him today
Praise God if we let Him
He'll work things out His way.
