Time

Time is swiftly passing by
Like sand through an hour glass
You get up in the morning
And the hours go oh so fast
There doesn't seem to be enough time
To get everything done in a day
Time goes by so quickly
There's not enough time you say

One day is still 24 hours
Time is still the same
The difference is the fast pace
Like living in the fast lane
Everyone is in a mad rush
They're rushing to and fro
The way of the world has changed
Things are no longer slow

Everyone's in such a hurry
There's no time for anything
So people just go on and on
So caught up in just living
They do not see the danger
Of living life so fast
They feel they must do all they can
For suddenly the day is past

There's no time to think of Jesus
Or what He did for them
No time to read the Bible
To invite the Saviour in
No time is the outcry
In our world today
But they will regret it
For their lack of time they'll pay

Please find the time my friend
To let the Lord come in
Find the time to be saved
Don't linger in your sin
For Jesus soon is coming
To catch His Bride away
So take time to talk to Him
You may just have today.
