Lighthouse

As you walk along the sandy beach
And view the rocky shore
Sometimes you see a lighthouse
That stands firm and secure
Its light shines across the water
For all the ships to see
To guide them into harbour
So safe they then will be

Its light is bright and shining
It shines so very far
It makes them feel secure
As it guides them across the bar
So stands our lighthouse Jesus
So firm and so secure
His light shines through the ages
As long as life endures

No matter what the storms of life
Or how fierce may be the gale
If we look to our lighthouse
The one who never fails
Our ship will reach its harbour
Secure and safe we'll be
Within the fold of Jesus
Throughout Eternity

Don't worry about the storms of life
Don't fear when thunders roll
For we have an eternal lighthouse
Who looks out for our soul
He'll safely guide us through each storm
And keep us safe from harm
For with our lighthouse Jesus
There's no cause for alarm
