Jesus

When Jesus walked this earth
Many miracles He performed
He healed the sick, raised the dead
And stilled the angry storm
Even though He did those things
The people could not understand
All some could see before them
Was an ordinary man

Satan had blinded their eyes
So the truth they couldn't see
He didn't want the Son of God
To set the people free
They accused Him of many things
But He loved them just the same
All He ever wanted
Was to hear them call His name

Those who called upon Him
Soon found to their delight
Into the darkness of the pain they felt
Soon shone a heavenly light
The joints that hadn't moved
Moved freely once again
The things they couldn't do before
They did now with no pain

For those who accepted Jesus
Their lives became so free
For every time He touched them
They were as happy as can be
They were so very thankful
For everything He'd done
Yet in spite of everything
Some doubted He was God's son

I am so thankful Jesus
I do believe in you
I am so thankful Lord
For all the things you do
I'm thankful that I know you
I'm glad you came my way
I'm glad when you came in my heart
You came there to stay.
