He knows how much you love Jesus
And how much you want to be
Like the Lord in all your ways
But he don’t want you free
And so he tries to bind you
By bringing things your way
That he hopes will distract you
So then you will not pray
Always remember through it all
That God is there with you
He is always standing by
And he will see you through
If you will place your hand in His
And allow him full control
He will make this time of hurt
Disappear and heal your soul
He loves you so very much
Depend on Him today
Look now to the Saviour
Look at Him and say
Jesus I am willing
To leave this all with you
I trust you my Saviour
I know you’ll see me through
