The Bible says that when we ask
We ask in Jesus' name
We know very well today
That God remains the same
He never changes anything
What He said then, He'll do
All you do is trust Him
For you He will come through
We sometimes feel that God
Must work things out right now
But we should never doubt Him
As before His throne we bow
For God He always is on time
He never is too late
The only thing about it is
Sometimes we have to wait
God knows what is best for us
He knows when it should come
We know that every need is met
Through Jesus Christ His Son
He promised in the Bible
On Him we could cast our care
The only thing about it is
We have to leave it there
Then when the Lord does answer
Be sure to thank Him there
Be sure to tell Him how you feel
For answering your prayer
Be sure to give Him all the praise
And glory for what He's done
Be sure to thank the Saviour
God's precious, precious Son.
