Do they say it's just a story
Told to them when they were small
Do they see it as a fairytale
With no truth in it at all
Do they really stop and read
What the Bible has to say
About the day that Jesus died
And the price that He did pay
Do they think it's too far fetched
Too incredible to be true
Are there some that just won't listen
They're too afraid it might be true
They don't want to know the truth
For then they'd have to see
The price Jesus paid for them
Upon Mount Calvary

Please take the time to read
What it says in God's word
And what you read, please heed
For Jesus does so love you
He died to set you free
He gave His life a ransom
For you on Calvary
He didn't have to do it
He didn't have to die
He could have called for Angels
For they were standing by
He suffered Calvary's torments
So that you might live
