Touching Hearts
A Mission Program in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico

Touching Hearts is a Program which provides hands on
in-kind, and monetary support for Homes for abandoned,
abused, and neglected children, and families in
Colonias of Nuevo Laredo, Mexico.

Over the past five years I have been planning,
organizing, and facilitating mission
trips to Nuevo Laredo for youth, adults, and families.

These mission experiences give the participants an
opportunity to return to their
neighborhoods, families, church communities, and
schools with the desire to
continue helping those less fortunate.

Due to travel alerts and media press regarding drug
related killings and kidnappings in Nuevo Laredo
Mexico there has been a major decline in the number of
individuals and groups from the United States crossing
the border to assist with their needs.  At this time
the Homes for the abandoned children are in need of
many practical items used on a daily basis such as:

 

           Powdered laundry detergent

              Shampoo (please no Hotel size bottles)

              Hair gel, Body lotion, Baby powder

              Toothpaste (no toothbrushes)

              Powdered drink mixes, Pasta

              Rice, Beans, Sugar

              Large boxes of cereal

              Large cans of Veg./Fruit/Tomato sauce

              Large trash bags, Cooking oil

If you prefer, you can send monetary donations with
which to purchase these items for the children.
