---===* Lucky Charms *===---

A rabbit's foot, a lucky charm,

Protecting you from hurt and harm.

And for the rabbit, little said,

You have his foot, but now he's dead.

A pair of dice, in ivory white.

They shine for you, most every night.

But elephants would not agree,

Their tusks are ivory, you see.

A double eagle, golden disk,

In this there must be little risk.

But twenty miners died today,

To make your charm, they had to pay.

A string of pearls, all full of luck,

A hundred oysters' shells we shuck,

To string a single perfect sphere,

For oysters, there no luck from here.

But I have found a lucky prize,

With hair of silk and hazel eyes,

Of pain and sorrow she knows naught,

Nor can her kind of good be bought.

So throw your lucky charms away,

And listen close to what I say,

Just go and find a lady true,

For you'll be lucky...when you do.
