Bewitcher

In Sentopf, where it's very cold,

I met a fairy, young and bold.

she danced for me,

and told me of her love.

She bade me join her,in her place,

I glimpsed her figure, through her lace.

And stepped away,

For she was not for me.

Oh, fairy princess, eons old,

Take all my silver,And my gold.

Leave me with but my soul

and all my heart.

And dance with me on every night,

In moonlit shadows, turning white,

And never let us dream

to be apart.

We live in different worlds, it's true,

In yours, I'd die, for loving you,

Your magic would consume me

As we grew.

But when you sang, and danced, for me,

A short forever came to be,

And lasted in my mind

Til you were through.

And now I see you, nevermore,

I've hurt, and cried,

And closed your door,

Until forever lets us meet, again.

But now I know my future holds,

Within my memory's tattered folds,

The place where I shall rest,

When it is then.
