Dreams

Dreams

To dream is to awaken the soul. It is to set free the mind and spirit, and to sail on a journey of hope.

To dream is to build castles out of clouds and realities out of wishes. It is to give meaning to the word belief.

To dream is to hear music in silence of thought, to privately dance to the sound of violins or to the beat of a pounding drum.

To dream is to abandon the fear of limitation, to unlearn skepticism and doubt, and to boldly embrace each day as a miraculous adventure.

To dream is to taste magic, to know passion, and to be unafraid to trust in the wisdom of the heart.

To dream is to see beyond the horizon, and to know that we are capable of anything our hearts desire.

Welcome, precious stone of night,
Delight of the skies, precious stone of the night,
Mother of stars, precious stone of the night,
Child reared by the sun, precious stone of the night,
Excellency of stars, precious stone of the night.
Anonymous Gaelic

The sad light of the moon, so lovely fair
That all the birds dream in the leafy shade
and the slim fountains sob into the air
Among the marble statues in the glade.
From 'Clair de Lune' by Paul Verlaine

Ye Muses, skilled in song, tuneful daughters of Zeus, the Son of Chronos, sing of the fair-faced broad-winged Moon. The gleam from her immortal head, revealed in the sky, rolls round the earth, and much beauty ariseth under her burning light.
From 'To Selene'
